What Are You Facing with an Arson Conviction?
Punishments for arson in Arizona will vary depending on the severity of the fire. The court will also take a few other aspects into account including whether or not the building or property was occupied if you have prior arson convictions, and whether anyone was injured. If someone was indeed injured in the fire, an additional aggravated assault charge could bring further punishments. If convicted all Arizona arson crimes carry possibilities of month or years in jail time, fines and surcharges, and probation.
